The NBA today formally named Warriors G Stephen Curry the league's MVP for the '14-15 season (NBA). Clothing retailer Express activated around the announcement with a video on Twitter (TWITTER.com, 5/4).

Furman AD Gary Clark is "stepping down from the position." Clark, who has been Furman AD for the past 15 years, will "remain at his job for an unspecified length of time to help with the transition" to a new AD (AP, 5/4).

The MLL Charlotte Hounds named the U.S. Army an official team sponsor for '15 (Hounds).

Electronic solutions manufacturer Molex today announced a deal to sponsor the BofA Chicago Marathon (Molex).

Purolator has agreed to a three-year renewal of its longstanding CFL sponsorship (Purolator).
