Buzzer Beaters....

The NBA on Friday announced a transparency initiative relating to its officiating program. Beginning March 2 and continuing through the ’15 playoffs, the league will provide play-by-play reports regarding all calls and material non-calls that occur in the last two minutes of close games (NBA).

FS North drew a 4.04 final rating for Wednesday night’s Wizards-T’Wolves game, which was F Kevin Garnett’s first since “returning to the team that drafted him.” This marked the “highest-rated game of the season and third-highest over the past three seasons” (BIZJOURNALS.com, 2/26).

Officials for the Single-A Florida State League Brevard County Manatees are “exploring a potential move from Viera into a future downtown baseball stadium” in Melbourne (FLORIDATODAY.com, 2/27).

Experience Kissimmee has signed a partnership agreement with Orlando City SC. The deal’s monthly features and co-marketing initiatives will include “podcasts and social media efforts.” Terms of the agreement were not disclosed (BIZJOURNALS.com, 2/27).
