Rutgers-Army Game Moving From Yankee Stadium To West Point

Army is "in the process of completing the paperwork" for its Nov. 21 football game against Rutgers to move from Yankee Stadium to Michie Stadium in West Point. Army AD Boo Corrigan said, "I don’t think there’s any more games (at Yankee Stadium) for a while. But if we were going to play one of those games against a bigger school, we would have the ability to do that." Corrigan confirmed that the school "has talked with Ohio State officials" about playing a game after the '16 season (Middletown TIMES HERALD-RECORD, 1/30).

Meanwhile, Navy's eligibility to play in one of college football's six New Year's Day bowl games is "in doubt" because its '15 regular season "will not be completed at the time final rankings are issued." Navy AD Chet Gladchuk and AAC Commissioner Mike Aresco confirmed that "members of the management committee" for the CFP "intend to discuss the situation at their next meeting in April" (Annapolis CAPITAL GAZETTE, 1/30).
