DraftKings Signs Deal With Steelers, Its Third NFL Partnership

The Steelers have signed an official partnership with daily fantasy sports operator DraftKings. The deal is DraftKings’ third NFL partnership, joining ones with the Patriots and Broncos. DraftKings will receive a variety of signage displays at Heinz Field, provide in-stadium fantasy updates, and will be featured on various team media extensions such as "NFL Now," the Steelers’ website and mobile application, "The Mike Tomlin Show" and pregame radio programs (Eric Fisher, Staff Writer).

This comes after FanDuel "signed its second NFL team sponsorship deal in three months, agreeing to a marketing pact" with the Jets. Team President Neil Glat said that the deal "will begin this week with FanDuel’s support of the 'Jets House' Super Bowl Week hospitality venue" in N.Y. As next season approaches, FanDuel "will sponsor fantasy results updates during Jets games at MetLife Stadium while receiving hospitality for key customers." It also will get "branding across Jets-controlled media properties" (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 1/26 issue).
