SI, Travel Channel Expanding Partnership For Swimsuit Series

SI today announced an expanded partnership with Travel Channel to develop a five-part TV series documenting the creation of the annual Swimsuit issue. The series, "Sports Illustrated: The Making of Swimsuit 2015," will air this coming February in concert with the release of the issue. SI and Travel Channel had worked for the past two years on standalone specials about the Swimsuit issue, but this latest effort turns the venture into a multipart documentary series more akin to "Hard Knocks" or "24/7." The specials will anchor Travel Channel's planned "Beach Week" of programming.
