ACC, Maryland Reach Mediated Agreement, Ending All Litigation

The ACC and Maryland on Friday announced that they have reached a mediated agreement that ends all litigation between the parties over the school's exit fee. Maryland agreed that the ACC will keep the sum of $33.4M previously withheld in order to resolve the lawsuits, and the conference agreed that UM will have no obligation to make any other payments to the ACC. As a result, the lawsuits filed in North Carolina and Maryland will be dismissed (ACC).
