Dustin Johnson Serving Suspension After Positive Cocaine Test

Golfer Dustin Johnson is "serving a six-month suspension from the PGA Tour after testing positive for cocaine," according to a source. Johnson on Thursday announced that he was taking a leave of absence. Under the Tour's policies, it is not required to announce any disciplinary actions for recreational drugs. TaylorMade in a statement Thursday said it supported Johnson’s decision to temporarily step away: "We wish him well and look forward to his return" (GOLF.com, 8/1).

In addition to TaylorMade-Adidas Golf, Johnson also has endorsement deals with NetJets and Rolex (THE DAILY).
