Beginning with tonight’s game in Chicago, the NFL is launching a "Homecoming" platform, designed to further unite fans with legacy players and their favorite teams. Kicking off with Mike Ditka’s number retirement during tonight’s game at Soldier Field, various retired NFLers will be honored by their teams with in-game presentations, traditional, digital and social media, and special events. Around the league for the next three weeks, there will be "NFL Homecoming" stencils on-field and in-stadium banners at some venues. The full list of events is at NFL.com/Homecoming.
