Miami Of Ohio Trustees Approve $13M Indoor Sports Facility

Miami of Ohio trustees "have given the green light to a new indoor sports center to be built on the northeast side of Yager Stadium." The $13M, 91,000-square-foot facility "will be constructed almost fully with donor contributions." It will feature a 120-yard football field "that will be used for all of Miami's 19 varsity sports." It also will house intramurals, club sports and youth tournaments. The project is expected to begin in March, but there is "no target date for completion at this point" (JOURNAL-NEWS.com, 12/6).
