Sports Properties Report Record Sales Numbers On Cyber Monday

In what every major sports property described as its busiest Cyber Monday ever, NFLShop.com experienced low-double-digit sales growth over last year, with mobile sales doubling. Other top sellers were the Nike Sideline Sport Knit Cap; the New Era Patriots '13 On-Field Player Sideline Sport Knit Hat; two separate Nike name/number jerseys of Seahawks QB Russell Wilson; and a Nike orange youth jersey for Broncos QB Peyton Manning.

The top Cyber Monday seller on Fanatics.com, which sells thousands of licensed items, was a surprise in that it was neither a jersey nor a cap. It was the Team USA red, white and blue mittens from Outer Stuff, which retail for $14. One mitten says "Go," the other says "USA." Mittens were a huge and surprising hit product at the '10 Vancouver Games.
