World Series Game 6 Is Most Expensive Ticket In Boston History

World Series Game 6 tomorrow in Boston has become the "most expensive local ticket in the city's history" on the secondary market. As of 10:00am ET, "the average list price on the resale market" was $1,860, according to TiqIQ. Bleacher seats to the game, "which could have been had for $300 last week, were selling for $1,100" this morning. TiqIQ VP/Data & Communications Chris Matcovich said that as of this morning, there were "around 3,000 tickets on the resale market" (ESPN.com, 10/29). The Red Sox last won a World Series at Fenway Park in 1918 (THE DAILY).
