NFLPA: Players Will Have To Submit HGH Blood Tests At Camp

NFL players "will be required to provide blood samples during training camp physicals for a study on human growth hormone," according to e-mails sent by the NFLPA to players. The population study "will be used to determine what a 'normal' HGH level is for an NFL player as negotiations continue on several other issues." A list of training camp guidelines distributed by the NFLPA to players includes a note on the Day One schedule: "Physicals to include blood draw for HGH population study" (USATODAY.com, 7/22).
