Parts Of Scotiabank Saddledome Under Water As Calgary Floods

Flood waters in Calgary reportedly "have reached the 14th row" of the Scotiabank Saddledome. Flames employees "were warned to stay at home this morning," and the "entire downtown core has been evacuated as heavy rain falls" (SI.com, 6/21). The Calgary Sun's Eric Francis tweeted, "The Flames were close to announcing plans for new arena. The massive flooding of the Dome ... will now play a role in discussion" (TWITTER .com, 6/21).
