NBA Finals: Spurs Move Concert, Ticket Prices Spike

As the Spurs-Heat NBA Finals head back to Miami for tonight's Game 6, Spurs Sports & Entertainment has moved the start time of a Pat Benetar & Neil Giraldo concert at the Freeman Coliseum to accommodate a viewing party at nearby AT&T Center. The concert will begin at 6:00pm CT, and concert ticket holders "will be admitted" to AT&T Center afterwards "simply by showing their ticket at the door" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 6/18).

Meanwhile, secondary ticket prices for the series are "going into overdrive." StubHub as of last night had about 3,000 tickets available for tonight's game, with the lowest-priced at $185 for standing-room only. The lowest price for a seat was $199, with the "cheapest seat in the lower bowl" at $475. The average price for courtside was about $23,000. If the Heat force a Game 7 Thursday, "supply and demand clearly kick into effect" (AP, 6/17).
