White Sox Video Explains How Rich Luker Influenced Ticket Pricing

The White Sox today released a video further delving into their recent research work with ESPN Sports Poll Founder and research analyst Dr. Rich Luker exploring the club's attendance and pricing patterns, which manifested themselves in a series of reduced pricing plans for the '13 season. Among the changes is a particular focus around "Family Sundays," with special pricing for the games at $5-15 per ticket and $10 for parking.

The three-minute clip features Luker and White Sox Senior VP/Sales & Marketing Brooks Boyer, with Luker remarking, "The pricing plan came directly out of the research. In 20-plus years of doing this kind of research, I've never seen a team do anything that was as direct and responsive to the research and what the fans said as what the Chicago White Sox did with this particular study."
