Capitals Launching #CapsPowerPlay Social Rewards Program

The Capitals today announced the launch of a social loyalty program designed to reward fans for engaging with the team via social media and at Verizon Center. The team claims the #CapsPowerPlay program is the first of its kind in the NHL, offering giveaways for checking into games via Foursquare, using team hashtags on Twitter and Instagram and sharing Caps content on Facebook. Prizes including tickets and merchandise are also offered for signing up. The initiative was developed in partnership with Activ8Social (Capitals).
