King County, Wash., Superior Court Judge Douglass North could rule Friday afternoon on a "lawsuit seeking to block the city's tentative deal for a new arena" in Seattle that would house the NBA Kings. The suit, filed by the Local 19 of the Int'l Longshore and Warehouse Union, says that the arena "would snarl traffic and create environmental havoc at the Port of Seattle." A separate case challenging the $200M public funding for the arena is still pending (SACBEE.com, 2/22).
