MLB Network today announced that former MLBer Darryl Hamilton has joined the network as an analyst. Hamilton will make his debut Saturday. Meanwhile, ESPN today announced that former MLBer Alex Cora has joined the network and ESPN Deportes as an analyst (THE DAILY).

The MLB Giants have signed Anchor Brewing to be "the first tenant for their $1.6 billion Mission Rock development project" on the S.F. waterfront. The brewery will occupy Pier 48 with "production and distribution facilities, a restaurant, museum and other public attractions" (SFGATE.com, 2/19).

Constellation today announced that it has signed a three-year sponsorship deal with golfer Jim Furyk, who will sport the company's logo on two locations on his shirt during all tournaments. Furyk will also make several appearances at Constellation-sponsored hospitality events (Constellation).

The AFL today formally announced plans for arena football in China by the fall of '14. The timeline includes a training program in Beijing this May, followed by exhibition games in Beijing and Guangzhou in October (AFL).

EA Sports' "NCAA Football 14" cover vote contest has been narrowed to four semifinalists from its crop of former college stars: Michigan QB Denard Robinson, Oregon RB Kenjon Barner, Texas A&M WR Ryan Swope and Alabama RB Eddie Lacy (Mult., 2/19).
