FAU Sells Stadium Naming Rights To George Zoley's GEO Group

The Florida Atlantic Univ. Foundation has received a $6M gift from The GEO Group for naming rights to FAU's on-campus football venue, which will be called GEO Group Stadium. The gift will be paid through GEO's charitable foundation over 12 years (FAU). The GEO Group was founded by George Zoley, an FAU alumnus and former Board of Trustees Chair. The group "operates a range of correctional and detention facilities, including maximum, medium and minimum security positions" (PALMBEACHPOST.com, 2/19).
