Larry Lucchino Expects Red Sox Sellout Streak To End This Season

Red Sox President & CEO Larry Lucchino today acknowledged that the team’s sellout streak at Fenway Park “is expected to conclude in April.” Lucchino: “It’s going to rest in peace, I think, sometime in April I suspect. That’s not such a terrible thing.” Lucchino added he has “no doubt" Opening Day will sell out. Lucchino: "It could be as early as the second (game), but I suspect it will be sometime in that first or second week.“ He also defended the legitimacy of the streak, which currently stands at 793 games (WEEI.com, 2/14).
