Cubs Launch Contest To Design "Wrigley Turns 100" Logo

The Cubs today announced the launch of the "Wrigley Field Turns 100 Logo Contest," with the winning logo to be featured at the ballpark, on merchandise and memorabilia, and possibly on the '14 Cubs uniforms. The winning designer and a guest will receive a flight and accommodations in Chicago to be feted in an unveiling event prior to a late-summer home game. The prize package also includes two tickets to the game and a personalized '14 jersey (Cubs).
Cubs Senior Dir of Marketing Alison Miller said, "There will be a gallery feature so you can see what other people posted. We will be able to filter all those and see them. We have a team that is planning all the 100th activities and we will vet down the top three to five finalists" (REDEYECHICAGO.com, 2/6).
