Buffalo Wild Wings CEO On Marketing Around Sporting Events

Buffalo Wild Wings did not advertise during the Super Bowl, but President & CEO Sally Smith said the company continues to advertise "during sporting events," including "throughout the whole football season." Smith said BWW's ads will "gear up again during basketball playoffs and March Madness." She noted the company for the first time title sponsored the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl and recently announced a partnership with the NCAA. Smith: “We look at where we can best engage our guests and certainly the Super Bowl is one that we talk about each year” (“Squawk on the Street,” CNBC, 2/4).
