FRIDAY

The MLL Collegiate Draft will take place at 8:30pm ET at the Philadelphia Marriott in conjunction with the U.S. Lacrosse National Convention at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. The draft will be streamed live via MLL's YouTube channel and will be hosted by CBS Sports Network's Evan Washburn and ESPN's Quint Kessenich.

Heat F LeBron James will be the special guest at the annual fundraiser for St. HOPE, the nonprofit organization founded by Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson that operates charter schools in the city's Oak Park neighborhood. The Heat play the Kings on Saturday.

Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia will host the 3rd Annual Shining Star Awards benefitting the March of Dimes at the Westin Philadelphia. Former Eagles GM Jimmy Murray will be honored with the Shining Star Lifetime Achievement Award during the gala dinner.

SATURDAY

The Predators will host a free and open-to-the-public Kickoff Celebration at Bridgestone Arena. Festivities will include an open house, a public team practice and discounted concessions.

SUNDAY

Dodgers CEO Stan Kasten, Special Advisor Tommy Lasorda and former players Ron Cey and Steve Yeager participate in Shomrei Torah Synagogue's Dodgers Day at the West Hills synagogue.

TNT’s Stan Van Gundy, ESPN’s Tim Reed, NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown. SBJ’s Tom Friend also joins the show to share his insights into NBA viewership trends.
