Daytona Speedway Revamps Website To Highlight Track's History

Daytona Int'l Speedway on Friday released a new website that highlights the history of the track and some of its special moments. The track started working on revamping its website last summer. The initial idea was to redesign its homepage, but Jump Co., which worked on the site, recommended overhauling it. The resulting site has floating images in the middle of the homepage, with click-through short stories on the track’s history or video of memorable moments. There is a navigation bar across every screen that includes a link to ticket sales and event info. DIS Senior Dir of Marketing Julie Giese said, "We wanted to make the site much more experiential, almost emotional."
