Presidents Of ACC Schools Affirm Commitment To Conference

The presidents of the 15 current and incoming ACC schools today issued a statement expressing their "commitment to preserve and protect the future of our outstanding league." The statement reads in part, "We want to be clear that the speculation about ACC schools in negotiations or considering alternatives to the ACC are totally false" (ACC).
The statement was "initiated" by the presidents of Clemson, Florida State, Georgia Tech, North Carolina and Virginia Tech, whose schools "have been the most speculated targets" for realignment (ESPN.com, 12/6).
