Swimmer Ryan Lochte Signs With CAA, Marking His Third Agency

U.S. swimmer Ryan Lochte Friday morning signed with CAA for representation. Lochte, who has amassed five gold medals and 11 medals overall during the last three Summer Olympics, left his agent Erika Wright following the London Games. He had been in discussions with CAA since October. He tweeted out the news, posting, “It's official! Just signed with CAA.... Moving ONWARD and UPWARD. That's a big #Jeah.”
Lochte will be represented by a team of agents led by Lowell Taub, who also works with Olympic sprinter Sanya Richards-Ross, snowboarder Shaun White and skiers Bode Miller and Julia Mancuso. CAA is Lochte’s third agency. He was represented by Octagon prior to and during the '08 Beijing Games. He left Octagon and signed with Wright prior to the London Games. His sponsors include Speedo, Gatorade, AT&T, Ralph Lauren, Gillette, Nissan, P&G and Mutual of Omaha.
