The Hornets have signed GM Dell Demps to a multiyear contract extension. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not released (Hornets).
Jim Rome told his radio listeners that Packers QB Aaron Rodgers and Lakers G Kobe Bryant will be his first guests when "Jim Rome on Showtime" launches Wednesday at 10:00pm ET. Actor Matthew Perry and Warriors/Dodgers investor Peter Guber also will be part of Rome's first show (John Ourand, THE DAILY).
The Yankees and Cloudbreak Group on Friday announced that they will donate 20% of all sales at nyyankeesfragrance.com during November and December to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy relief. Cloudbreak also will offer a guaranteed $10,000 (Yankees).
