Denver Post Shopping Its 7.3% Ownership Stake in Rockies

The Denver Post is “actively marketing its minority ownership stake” in the Rockies, according to Digital First Media, which operates the newspaper’s owner, MediaNews Group. Digital First Media CEO John Paton said in a statement that the paper is selling its 7.3% stake as it pursues a new digital strategy. Denver Post CEO Ed Moss said, “At the right value, we would sell the interest. If we do not receive that value, we would be happy to continue to hold our interest in the Rockies” (DENVERPOST.com, 11/7).
