Jim Durham, ESPN Radio's Lead NBA Announcer, Dies At Age 65

Jim Durham, ESPN Radio's lead NBA play-by-play commentator since its inception in '96, died over the weekend at his home in Tomball, Texas, at the age of 65. Durham in '11 received the Basketball HOF's Curt Gowdy Media Award, which is presented annually to a member of the print and electronic media for making a significant contribution to the game. Durham's final assignment for ESPN was last Tuesday's Heat-Celtics NBA season-opener (ESPN).
