Taco Bell Bringing Back Free Taco Promotion Tied To World Series

MLB corporate sponsor Taco Bell is reprising its "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" promotion during next week’s World Series. Any stolen base during the Fall Classic gets consumers a free Doritos Locos taco at any Taco Bell location. The QSR last staged the promo in '08 and consumers could get their free tacos from 2:00-6:00pm ET on a Tuesday. Buzz value and integration within the Fox telecast had many calling the last taco giveaway one of the year’s best marketing campaigns. Last time around, Taco Bell said the value of each gratis taco was around $0.91.
