Erick Thohir, Jason Levien Formally Join DC United Ownership Group

76ers minority Owners Erick Thohir and Jason Levien have formally joined Will Chang as co-Owners of the operating rights to MLS DC United. The club announced at a press conference this afternoon that Thohir and Levien will serve as Managing Partners of the club. The Indonesia-based Thohir is co-Founder of the Mahaka Group, which focuses on media and entertainment holdings, while Levien is President & Founder of LSRI, a firm specializing in investments in sports and media properties. In making the announcement, DC United said that President & CEO Kevin Payne and all other front office staff will continue to run the day-to-day business of the team.
