Sources: Bobcats Team Doctor Glenn Perry Is Stepping Down

Dr. Glenn Perry, team doctor for two NBA clubs in Charlotte over the past 25 years, has decided to step down from his current position with the Bobcats to spend more time with his family, according to industry sources. Perry, a Charlotte orthopedist, first served with the Hornets from '88-'02, when the team moved to New Orleans. He has been the Bobcats’ doctor since the expansion team started play in '04. The Bobcats have not identified Perry’s replacement, sources said. In addition to his NBA tenure, Perry was team physician for the U.S. men’s basketball team at the '00 Sydney Games.
