No NBPA Conference Call Scheduled Regarding President Derek Fisher

There is no conference call of NBPA team reps currently scheduled regarding the on-going power struggle in the union, but a call may be scheduled if NBPA President Derek Fisher does not step down from his position, a source close to the union told SportsBusiness Journal Friday. The source said that there has been misinformation reported, including that a call had been scheduled. The NBPA Exec Committee voted 8-0 earlier this week that they had no confidence in Fisher. "They asked him to resign,” the source said. "They wrote a letter and sent it to him."
