Deloitte Renews Deal To Sponsor USOC Through '16 Games

The USOC today announced a renewal with official sponsor Deloitte. The deal, which is a mix of value-in-kind services and cash, extends the global accounting firm’s position as the official professional services sponsor for audit, tax, consulting and financial advisory services. As an official sponsor, Deloitte receives the designation as an official team sponsor of the '14 Sochi and '16 Rio de Janeiro Olympic teams, rights to the five rings and hospitality such as access to the USA House during the Olympic Games.

Since signing on to sponsor the USOC in '09, Deloitte has allowed the USOC to tap into its consulting business, which has given the USOC an assessment of its business in order to improve operations, save money and generate additional revenue. Deloitte is the fourth sponsor to renew with the USOC through '16. A-B, BP and Nike renewed their deals over the last year.
