Lance Armstrong Foundation Partners With Ironman Triathlon Series

The Lance Armstrong Foundation today announced a deal with the Ironman triathlon series to raise more than $1M in the fight against cancer. Armstrong will compete as a pro triathlete as part of Team Livestrong in several Ironman and Ironman 70.3 races this year, with the goal of qualifying for the Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, in October. Per the deal, Ironman will serve as a gold-level sponsor of the Team Livestrong Challenge Series (Lance Armstrong Foundation).
