D'Backs Average NLDS Ticket Price Lower Than In '07 Playoffs

The D'Backs said today ticket pricing for potential NLDS games at Chase Field will range from $12-140, on average 24% cheaper than the club's last playoff appearance in '07. The $12 low-end pricing for outfield reserve seats is also the cheapest first-round playoff ticket of any MLB team in contention, and below the $15 price for the same seats in '07. The club will take registrations online at dbacks.com/postseason until Monday for a lottery to purchase tickets to all possible playoff games. Purchasers can bypass the lottery, however, and have guaranteed access to playoff tickets by making a deposit on '12 season tickets.

The D'Backs struggled with presales prior to many of their NLDS and NLCS games in '07. The club's price cuts for the postseason follows a similar move for All-Star Game tickets this year, also held at Chase Field.
