Screen Capital Forms Affiliate To Help Properties Launch, Operate RSNs

Beverly Hills-based finance company Screen Capital Int'l is forming an affiliate called RSN Partners that is being set up to help teams and properties launch and operate RSNs. RSN Partners is backed by the Boston-based Abry Partners. The group has retained Lee Berke's LHB Sports to help identify opportunities. Clint Kisker spearheaded the deal for Screen Capital, which is looking to get further into sports. "Great sports franchises that attract loyal audiences over decades are exactly the kind of premium content that should be rewarded by direct ownership in better focused and better managed networks," said David Molner, founder of SCI and chairman of RSNP.
