Fox Sees Mixed Bag Of Ratings For NFL Divisional Games

Fox earned a 19.1 fast-national Nielsen rating and 32.5 million viewers for yesterday’s Seahawks-Bears NFC Divisional game, down 13.2% and 13.7%, respectively, from a 22.0 rating and 37.7 million viewers for the comparable Vikings-Cowboys game last year. Saturday’s Packers-Falcons primetime NFC Divisional game on Fox earned a 17.0 rating and 30.8 million viewers, marking the net’s most-viewed Saturday Divisional game since Packers-49ers in ’96. The telecast is up 5.6% and 10.4%, respectively, from a 16.1 rating and 27.9 million viewers for the afternoon Saints-Cardinals matchup. Packers-Falcons is flat compared to CBS’ Colts-Ravens primetime Divisional game last year, but up slightly in viewership.

Through three NFL playoff telecasts, Fox is averaging a 19.4 rating (34.1 million viewers), up 1% from a 19.2 rating (33.3 million viewers) through the same point last year (Fox).
