Meredith Corp. To Handle Operations Of Turner-Owned Peachtree TV

Turner Broadcasting today announced that Peachtree TV "will now be managed on a daily basis" by Meredith Corp., which owns Atlanta CBS affiliate WGCL. Turner "is not selling the station to WGCL-TV, and the network will continue to broadcast 45 Braves baseball games, SEC football and basketball games." Fox Sports South will produce and sell the Braves games using Fox announcers. Those 45 games will be available outside the Atlanta market on FSN or SportSouth (AJC.com, 1/18).
