April 18-19, 2017
Dana Point, California

Conference Overview

After record setting attendance last spring, CAA and Street & Smith’s SportsBusiness Journal/Daily are once again teaming up to present the 16th Annual World Congress of Sports. The 2017 CAA World Congress of Sports will be taking place April 19-20 at the Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, California.

“We’re extremely excited to be partnering with CAA for the 2017 Congress,” comments Richard Weiss, Publisher, SportsBusiness Journal/Daily. “In our first year of working together, we were really able to raise the bar from a content standpoint and take the Congress in new directions. And for 2017, we plan on delivering a whole new information and entertainment experience for attendees.”

The Congress was launched in 2002 and is the largest and most prestigious sports business conference in North America. However, the program speakers and content often transcend sports. In recent years, the speaker faculty has featured individuals ranging from Disney Chairman & CEO Bob Iger, to U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, to LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner.
