About the Forty Under 40 Awards Program
The Forty Under 40 Awards program was initiated in 1999 by SportsBusiness Journal and SportsBusiness Daily to identify and honor the most promising young executives in sports business under the age of 40.
A committee of SportsBusiness Journal and SportsBusiness Daily editors and writers select the forty executives from among hundreds of nominations received each year.
Winners were honored at the a black-tie gala - the Forty Under 40 Awards Banquet - on Thursday, March 22nd at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel in Dana Point, California.
