About the Forty Under 40 Awards Program
The Forty Under 40 Awards program was initiated in 1999 by SportsBusiness Journal and SportsBusiness Daily to identify and honor the most promising young executives in sports business under the age of 40.
A committee of SportsBusiness Journal and SportsBusiness Daily editors and writers select the forty executives from among hundreds of nominations received each year.
Winners will be selected and notified by February 1, 2012.
Winners will be announced in our March 12, 2012 issue of SportsBusiness Journal.
Winners will be honored at the a black-tie gala - the Forty Under 40 Awards Banquet - on Thursday, March 22nd at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel in Dana Point, California.

The Forty Under 40 Awards is an annual celebration of the best young talent in sports business.
On Thursday, March 22, 2012 following the IMG World Congress of Sports, the 40 winners, their guests and industry leaders will be treated to a gala dinner and awards program at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel.
