Conference Overview
The 10th annual IMG Intercollegiate Athletics Forum is the one program that year-in and year-out serves as a platform for stakeholders to openly examine and candidly debate the numerous and complex issues surrounding college sports.
A "must attend" event since 2002 for anyone involved in the business of college sports, the IMG Intercollegiate Athletics Forum provides an "insiders view" by offering firsthand insights from those directly shaping the future of intercollegiate athletics -- athletic directors, university presidents, conference commissioners, coaches, academic advisers, media and corporate sponsors.
Through a series of in-depth case studies, roundtable discussions and featured interviews, the program explores the growth areas and emerging trends in intercollegiate athletics, while continuing the "how-to" dialogue for managing the day-to-day business of college sports.
In addition to the conference content, attendees will have ample opportunity to network with industry peers. Attending the Intercollegiate Athletics Forum will surely be an educational event and one that you will want to put on your calendar year after year!
What They're Saying About IAF
“Everyone associated with the IMG Athletics Forum should be proud of this first class event. The sessions I attended were very meaningful and the presenters covered sensitive subjects in a candid manner while keeping their sense of humor. Drawing such a crowd of busy folks at this time of the year is a huge accomplishment.”
Terry Holland
Athletic Director
East Carolina University
“I have attended several times and have enjoyed participating. A great deal of business and networking happens around the Forum.”
Rob Mullens
Athletic Director
University of Oregon
"The Intercollegiate Athletics Forum is an important annual event for our industry. The narrow focus on intercollegiate athletics, the topical nature of the Forum’s agenda and the quality of the speakers and attendees combine to make the Forum a uniquely valuable annual gathering."
Jack Swarbrick
Athletic Director
University of Notre Dame
“The Intercollegiate Athletics Forum is time well spent. The tremendous slate of industry leaders from the entire spectrum of the athletics arena was the best I have experienced and covered the most relevant issues we are all dealing with today. I regret not including my senior staff in this event this year."
Randy Spetman
Athletic Director
Florida State University
"The agenda at this year’s Intercollegiate Athletics Forum could not have been more relevant, from discussions of Division I football playoffs, to the impact of the economy on collegiate sports programs, to broadcast rights issues, the program addresses all of the most pressing issues for collegiate athletic directors across the country."
Drew Marrochello
Deputy Athletic Director
Boston University
"The Intercollegiate Athletics Forum is annually the premier event of its kind in the U.S. It consistently offers a compelling program of timely, comprehensive and very relevant topics, with the most experienced and knowledgeable speakers from the field."
Debbie Yow
Athletic Director
N.C. State University
“With the pace of change in collegiate athletics being what it is today, having an opportunity to meet with the best in the field to learn about and discuss the issues of the day is invaluable. This year’s IAF touched on all of the areas that I deal with every day and provided useful insight into the direction of collegiate sports in the coming years."
Vince Sweeney
Vice Chancellor, University Relations
University of Wisconsin
"IAF gives me the opportunity to hear from and meet the “best” in every facet of collegiate athletics. It’s an invaluable learning and networking opportunity."
